We have designed and installed systems for power plants, paper mills, CNC machines, packaging facilities, food processing equipment, heavy equipment, trucks, and many other applications, both large and small.

The series progressive lubrication systems (automatic lubrication systems, centralized lubrication systems) meter oil or grease (up to NLGI 2) via distribution blocks (divider valves) to lubricate the friction points of the machines. Each divider valve can serve between 3 and 24 outlets with accurate discharge to each point. The distribution system is reliable and can be monitored by an electrical switch on the primary divider, as well as visual observation of an indicator pin.

Pumps are available in 12/24 VDC, 115/230VAC, or pneumatic or hydraulically powered. We offer Integrated controllers, separate controllers as well as customized controls utilizing PLC’s, HMI’s, zoned operation and real time monitoring.

What are the benefits of using an ILC (Centralized Lubrication Systems) Series Progressive System?

  • A series progressive system meters lubricant to each and every lubrication point sequentially, one after another. Any blockage of a tubing run serving a lubrication point causes the divider valve to stop functioning. Multilne systems or injector systems cannot provide any notification of a blocked point.
  • There is a visual confirmation of lubricant flow through the divider via a pin that oscillates as lubricant is being pumped. An optional proximity switch can be fitted to the valve which is then connected to a dedicated M12 connector on the pump. In the event of a blockage, the proximity switch notifies the pump of a lubricant flow issue and the pump would show a fault condition on the controller. The fault output may be used to illuminate a light or other warning device in the operator’s cab.
  • Every pump is equipped with an integrated low level switch. A low level condition illuminates a light on the pump controller and an output signal may be used to make an operator aware of a low level condition in the cab.
  • The divider valve configuration is the only system design that allows greasing of all lubrication points in the event of a pump issue.
  • The pump is capable of pumping NLGI # 2 grade grease. It has a fairly large inlet which we use to affix a cam lock arrangement allowing personnel to refill the pump with a manual pail pump.
  • Every pump is equipped with a pressure gauge that provides real time monitoring of the system lubricant delivery. In addition the pump has a paddle that rotates and visually confirms its operation. As the paddle rotates, the pumping element, which is mechanically coupled to a cam, meters lubricant at a precise volume of .16 cc per revolution.
  • Most competitive lubrication system pumps have controllers that allows the selection of a specific run time as well as a dwell time; the time the pump is in idle mode. The ILC pump has a unique ability to be programmed to run for a specific number of pump rotations as opposed to run time. Run time programming does not factor in the wide variation in revolutions a pump will make per minute based on the ambient temperature. Effectively a pump programmed to run for 2 minutes at 20ºF will makes less revolutions than at 85ºF. In practice, this effects delivery volume.

Interlube AC Electrically Operated Multiline System Range

The Interlube AC Range is a compact all electrically operated 12/24 volt multi-line grease pump system, with three reservoir sizes, which consists of the Interlube AC1, Interlube AC2, Interlube AC3 and Interlube AC6 multi line grease pumps for chassis applications. Applications include tippers and trucks, refuse vehicles, buses, cranes, excavators, and agricultural machines.

The multi-line concept enables each bearing to be lubricated independently, and damage to one feed line does not render the system inoperable. Positive displacement pumping units are available in six different stroke outputs to cater for varying output requirements, and are color-coded for easy identification. They are supplied complete with outlet fittings suitable for 4 mm tubing. The AC Range is easy to operate, and virtually maintenance free. It is fully adjustable, and will deliver precise lubrication whenever the vehicle is in motion.

  • The Interlube AC1 multi line grease pump is available with 12 or 24 volt systems; serves up to 12 lubrication points and operates for up to 750 hours on each reservior filling.
  • The Interlube AC2 multi line grease pump is available with 12 or 24 volt systems; serves up to 12, 24 or 36 lubrication points; item number depends on voltage, cycle time and number of points served; see Operating Manual at right and operates for up to 1500 hours on each reservior filling.

  • FYI - The Timken Co. recently announced the acquisition of Interlube Systems, which makes and markets automated lubrication delivery systems and related components to end-market sectors including commercial vehicles, construction, mining, and heavy and general industries. Based in Plymouth, U.K., with an operation in Dayton, Ohio, and a joint venture in Zhuhai, China, Interlube reported 2012 sales of approximately $13 million along with 90 employees. The purchase also includes MSP Distributors of Cheltenham, U.K., which designs, installs and repairs lubrication systems and was acquired by Interlube in 2007.

Interlube AX Range

The Interlube AX multi-line pumps are used in many small to medium sized industrial applications such as packaging machines, food processing machines, paper converting machines and recycling machines; with the motors specified as 110V or 240V. The pumps operate in the same way as the AC range and utilize the same pump units/accessories.

Interlube LUBEPLUS GX Single Line System

The Interlube Lubeplus GX is ideally suited to mechanical applications and plant use in the food processing, packaging and printing industries. Can accommodate systems with up to 200 lubrication points.

The Interlube Lubeplus GX is designed to operate with the more precise positive displacement unit (PDU) which can be used with greases or oil; or with metering flow unit systems (oil onlyl). The lubricator is available with a wide combination of condition monitoring features and a choice of 'with' or 'without' microprocessor control.

  • The microprocessor provides the option of times or impulse count control and automatically monitors pressure failure and low level condition.
  • The model without microprocessor is normally operated in conjunction with the control system of the parent machine

The standard unit is supplied with an integral controller, which allows selection of either a timed mode of operation or a combination mode of time period and impulse count delay period. Selection of modes is acheived via a simple DIL switch.

Dualine lubricating systems are found in virtually every industry in which continuous duty operation is required. From steel production to pulp and paper, from mining equipment to machine tools, automatic application of the lubricant provides significant benefits to the equipment user. There are several components that are used in designing a Dualine system:

Dualine Systems are economical for a system with more than 20 bearing points and lubrication points can be added easily without redesigning the total system. A blockage between feed line and bearing will not shut the system down, ensuring that the remaining bearings will continue to be lubricated. There are positive lubrication indicators for each bearing point enabling easy monitoring for any blocked points. Dualine systems have the ability to positively displace a broad range of lubricants from light oil to grade 2 grease. Lubrication discharge volumes at each lubrication point are fully adjustable in the field, even after start-up.

BIJUR Logo The spray systems are used to lubricate large gear and pinion sets such as ball mills, rod mills, kilns, etc. They are widely applied in power generation, mine, cement, forging and paper equipment. These lubrication systems can increase gears working life, reduce maintenance time and costs.

Gear face widths of 50mm to 1.06m can be lubricated with nozzle. The gear spray systems operate intermittently, they can be thought of as film maintaining devices. The electrical controls provide broad cycling flexibility as well as fault monitoring and afterblow to purge the nozzles.
